Description:
Carnegie Council’s Global Policy Innovations and Mercy Corps’s Global Envision cosponsor a workshop on improving communications strategies and finding complementarities between organizations. The workshop will begin with lunch at noon, followed by a short presentation by each partner organization about the goals of its website, and an interactive session with web marketing company Digital Pulp. The event will explore website management and marketing tools such as: Finding and maintaining quality partnerships, establishing content sharing agreements, the use of new technologies such as spidering and social bookmarking, search engine optimization and linking campaigns. The remainder of the afternoon will be reserved for breakout groups that wish to explore possible collaboration between partners.
