"My work is based on the assumption that clarity and consistency in our moral thinking is likely, in the long run, to lead us to hold better views on ethical issues," says Peter Singer.

This conversation will explore Singer's moral thoughts on issues like animal rights, the right to life, and global poverty, as well as his commitment to realize those thoughts in daily life.

Ethics Matter is a monthly series of town hall events with notable policy and academic experts. The events will be taped and distributed for broadcast on television stations across the country. A networking reception will follow the taping.
