DIY Inventions from Cuba's Isolation

Through decades of isolation and shortages, Cubans forged a DIY culture of invention and repair, repurposing motors and other objects to meet their needs. Artist Ernesto Oroza spent a decade driving around the entire island to collect these innovations, documenting them as examples of what he calls Technological Disobedience.
