Escuela Latinoamericana de Copperación y Desarrollo (ELACID )

Description ELACID aims to contribute to the alternative debate on developmental issues, to strengthen international cooperation projects and initiatives in Latin America, and to foster the development of research activities based on the linkage between academics and civil society. ELACID's Training Division organizes a master course for the duration of one academic year with the aim of offering advanced academic training in development economics and international cooperation for students from Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Research Division carries out research activities related to regional developmental priorities, with the aim of reducing the gap between academic research and the real needs of the current global context.
The Terrestrial Network Division's objective is to deepen the knowledge of the Latin American reality and to foster cooperation among different agents like public entities, international organizations, think tanks, and NGOs that deal with developmental issues.
