Consumer Unity & Trust Society

Description Consumer Unity & Trust Society International is a premier research, advocacy and networking organization working on several areas of public interest with the vision of “Consumer sovereignty in the framework of social justice and economic equality, within and across borders.” Currently, it operates out of five program centers and an advocacy center spread over four Indian cities (Jaipur, Chittorgarh, New Delhi, and Calcutta), two resource centers in Africa (Lusaka, Zambia; and Nairobi, Kenya), and one resource center in the United Kingdom (London), with a staff strength of over 100 persons.

CUTS activities are divided into five program areas: Consumer Protection; International Trade and Development; Competition, Investment & Economic Regulation; Human Development; and Consumer Safety.
