Description The Centre for Civil Society is formally committed to strengthening the non-profit and voluntary sector by disseminating information to the sector itself, and by building networks and encouraging collaboration both within the sector and between it and researchers and teachers in Higher Education institutions in South Africa. The Centre endeavours to ensure that access to quality education about the sector, and appropriate training for its volunteers and employees is available in all major metropolitan areas and as widely as possible in the country as a whole.
