Description The Ateneo Center for Economic Research and Development (ACERD) was founded in 1989 as the research unit in economics and economic policy of the Ateneo de Manila University Department of Economics. The ACERD exists 1) to provide material and moral support to research and training in economics; 2) to undertake, conduct, disseminate and publish research work, policy studies, programs and projects; and 3) to establish, develop, promote and coordinate the exchange of knowledge and skills, linkages, and other mutually beneficial relationships with other institutions.
