Transportation Alternatives

Description The mission of Transportation Alternatives is to reclaim New York City's streets from the automobile, and to advocate for bicycling, walking, and public transit as the best and most sustainable transportation alternatives. Through grassroots campaigns and community building, TA pushes city agencies and elected officials to add urban innovations such as pedestrian plazas, protected bike lanes, and congestion pricing to the urban landscape.
