Gapminder

 
 
Description

Gapminder is a nonprofit venture for development and provision of free software that visualizes human development. This is done in collaboration with universities, public agencies, UN organizations, and nongovernmental organizations. Gapminder is a foundation registered in Stockholm, Sweden. It was founded by Ola Rosling, Anna Rosling Rönnlund, and Hans Rosling on February 25, 2005. Gapminder Foundation advances software developments by the nonprofit company Gapminder Ltd. Being a producer of global public goods, Gapminder benefits from free and creative inputs from pilot-testers and other end-users in many institutions and organizations.
