Stephany Griffith-Jones is an economist working on global capital flows, with special reference to flows to emerging markets; macroeconomic management of capital flows in Latin America, Eastern Europe and sub-Saharan Africa; proposals for international measures to diminish the volatility of capital flows and reduce the likelihood of currency crises; and analysis of national and international capital markets. Dr. Griffith-Jones has also worked on savings (including pension reform) in Czech Republic, Poland and Russia.
