Emel Memis
Emel Memis is currently working as a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Utah on gender inequalities and international trade theories. She earned her B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in economics from the Middle East Technical University in Turkey. She also worked as a research associate at the UNDP Regional Centre in Colombo, where she focused on international trade and development. Emel has teaching experience in Feminist Economics, and Gender and Economic Development.
