Mr. Candido Grzybowski is a philosopher and sociologist. He has been the Director of the Brazilian Institute of Social and Economic Analyses (IBASE) since 1990. He is also an active member of the organizing committee of the World Social Forum and a member of the WSF International Secretariat.
Mr. Candido Grzybowski is former Professor of Sociology of Development at the Fundacao Getulio Vargas, in Rio de Janeiro (1989-1991). He has a doctorate degree from the University of Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne), France, and post-doctoral studies from the University College London, UK.
