Aradhna Aggarwal is Reader in Economics at the Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi. She has also been associated with the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) as a consultant since 2001. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her thesis was awarded the Professor Chhablani prize in recognition of its research contributions. She is also a recipient of the Global Development Network award for a research paper on technology. Dr. Aggarwal's research interests include international trade, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), technology transfer, Research and Development (R&D), WTO-related issues and economic reforms. Her articles have appeared in World Development, Journal of Development Studies, Research Policy, Transnational Corporation and Technology in Society.
