Clarisse Simonek joined the GPI Global Internship program in June 2006 and is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Clarisse recently graduated from Swarthmore College. Previously, she was an election observer with the Organization of American States in Bolivia and an intern with the Americas Program at the Carter Center in Atlanta. In 2005, Clarisse served as an intern in the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. She is fluent in Portugese and English.
