Esther Dweck received her Ph.D. in economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. She was also a Visiting PhD Student at Laboratory for Economic and Management at Sant’Anna School, Pisa, Italy. Her main fields of interest are development economics, heterodox growth models, balance of payments constraints, micro-macro integration. She is currently a researcher at the Institute of Economics of UFRJ at the Evolutionary Economic Dynamics Group (GEDEE) and the Industry and Competitiveness Group (GIC). Her most recent works focuses on micro-macro multisectoral dynamic model and on employment and growth impacts based on input and output analyses.
