Boopen Seetanah is a lecturer at the School of Public Sector Policy and Management of the University of Technology, Mauritius. He has completed his MSc from the University of Reading (UK), an MPhil in Economics and is currently doing his PhD in Economics. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He lectures in Transport and Development Economics, Banking and Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research interest is on public and development economics, corporate finance and on transport economics as well. He is specializing on the econometric modeling of public capital with particular interest in transport infrastructure using static and dynamic models in time series and panel data analysis.
