Parthapratim Pal

Parthapratim Pal is Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta. He has a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. He has worked in the areas of macroeconomics, development, financial markets and international economy. Before joining IIM, he worked with the Indian Council for Research in International Economic Relations, the Economic Research Foundation, and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Partha was a fellow at the first Cambridge Advanced Programme on Rethinking Development Economics in 2001 and a fellow at the International Working Group on Gender and Macroeconomics in Utah in 2003.
