Alexandra Harney is a freelance writer based in Hong Kong. From 1998 to 2007, she was a reporter and editor at the Financial Times. Alexandra, who speaks Japanese and Mandarin Chinese, is the author of The China Price: The True Cost of Chinese Competitive Advantage (Penguin, March 2008).
