Amy Lieberman is a freelance journalist living in New York City and based primarily out of the United Nations Secretariat, where she serves as a correspondent for a Brazilian newswire. A graduate of Macalester College, she has written about everything from sexual violence in conflict zones to the art of dumpster diving for Women's eNews, IRIN, the New York Observer
