David King

Director of Energy Policy, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Energy, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health), U.S. Air Force


David M. King is the director of energy policy within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Air Force (Energy, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health). Mr. King develops Air Force energy policy, and provides programmatic oversight, guidance, and direction for all matters related to Air Force energy. Mr. King is also responsible for promulgating the institutionalization of the Air Force Energy Strategic Plan, which aims to "reduce demand, increase supply and change the culture" by "making energy a consideration in all we do." Mr. King holds a B.S. from the Air Force Academy and master's degrees in education and logistics.
