David Steven

David Steven is a non-resident fellow at CIC, where he specializes in risk and resilience. David is a Demos associate, a member of the advisory board of Jardine Lloyd Thompson's World Risk Review, and a board director of the River Path Associates. His research interests include scarcity and climate, demographic change, and new approaches to influence and foreign policy.
In current projects, he is exploring British foreign policy after the next general election, risk in the UK housing market following the financial crisis, the demographic challenges facing Nigeria, and international climate politics after the Copenhagen summit. David is the co-editor, with Alex Evans, of Global Dashboard, the global risk and foreign policy website.
