Dov Waxman

Dov Waxman is a professor of international relations and Middle East politics at Baruch College. He specializes in Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Waxman has been a visiting fellow at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, a visiting scholar at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, and a visiting fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is a faculty member of the political science and the Middle Eastern studies programs at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

Waxman is the author of The Pursuit of Peace and the Crisis of Israeli Identity: Defending / Defining the Nation, and the co-author of Israel's Palestinians: The Conflict Within. He was the associate editor of Israel Studies Forum from 2005–2010, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Association for Israel Studies.
