Eric Zencey is a novelist (Panama), essayist (Virgin Forest: Meditations on History, Ecology, and Culture), and political economist (The Other Road to Serfdom: How Infinite-Planet Economics Threatens Democracy, forthcoming next year from the University Press of New England). His work appears regularly in The Daly News and other internet publications.
He teaches history, politics, and political economy in Prague for SUNY Empire State College's international programs. He also teaches ecological economics and serves as project coordinator for the Vermont Genuine Progress Indicator Project as a fellow of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont.
