George Friedman is the founder and CEO of Strategic Forecasting, Inc., an online publisher of geopolitical intelligence that pioneered the field of private intelligence. As chief intelligence officer, he guides the strategic vision of the Stratfor intelligence group. Friedman has published numerous articles and several books on national security, information warfare, and intelligence, including The Future of War (Crown, 1997) and The Intelligence Edge (Crown, 1997).
