R. Glenn Hubbard

Dean and Professor, Columbia Business School


R. Glenn Hubbard, a former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President George W. Bush, is the dean and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School. He is the author of numerous publications and coauthor of Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise (with J. F. Cogan and D. P. Kessler, 2005). Dr. Hubbard received his Ph.D. and A.M. in Economics from Harvard University, and holds a B.A. and B.S. in Economics from the University of Central Florida.
