Irene Pipola


Irene Pipola is a second year MBA candidate at Columbia Business School, and she is pursuing a career in sustainability and environmental consulting. She is part of the Board of the Green Business Club at Columbia.

Pipola is a consultant of The Boston Consulting Group, which is sponsoring her MBA, and she works largely in the Group's Energy Practice. She recently completed a summer internship at Carbon Credit Capital, a company that generates carbon credits and clean energy by partnering with project developers in emerging economies.

Previously, Pipola worked as product manager for U.S. and European markets in the research and development department of Barilla. She holds an MS in Chemical Engineering from University of Naples (Italy).
