A business strategist and technologist, John Lash heard the call for climate change. With more than 20 years experience in high tech, communications, and media, Lash now promotes sustainability as an opportunity for businesses to drive bottom line and increase brand value by being environmentally responsible. His current sustainability projects include a renewable-energy business plan to launch a solar utility using a third-party power purchase agreement (PPA) model.
For the past six years, Lash held Vice President of Strategic Development positions at Artera Group and NCT Group. Earlier this year, Lash was awarded a patent for a method to reduce the costs of Internet communications and has two more patents pending. Possessing a rare combination of creative and operational strengths, he started his own company in 1995 and later helped to launch two subsidiaries at a publicly traded company. In the process, Lash gained experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, sales to Fortune 500 & Global 2000, technology, communications, project management, and marketing.
A global citizen, Lash has extensive international experience conducting business in more than 15 countries and managing offices in Europe and Asia. He speaks English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
Lash received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He currently resides in Connecticut.
