Julia Taylor Kennedy

Julia Taylor Kennedy works in thought leadership at LRN, a firm that has advised more than 500 companies on principled performance in business.
Kennedy was previously a program officer for the Carnegie Council's Carnegie Ethics Studio. She oversaw the content of Carnegie Ethics Studio programming, including the series Ethics Matter. Kennedy also programs and hosts the audio interview series Just Business (formerly Advocates for Ethics in Business). She started with the Carnegie Council in the summer of 2009.
Kennedy came to the Council from Yale University, where she earned an M.A. in international relations. As a teaching and research fellow at Yale, Kennedy received a research grant to study Brazilian migration to the United States and its effects on Brazilian development.
Before returning to graduate school, Kennedy was a journalist in public radio and print media. She worked for a variety of outlets up and down the East Coast, eventually hosting and producing a nationally distributed public radio show, 51%.
Kennedy graduated cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.S.J. in journalism and Latin American studies.
