Lawrence Lessig is a Professor of Law at the Stanford Law School and was the Berkman Professor of Law at Harvard Law School.

Lessig is the founder and codirector of the law school's Center for Internet and Society, board member of the Creative Commons project, and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
