Lisa Oldring
Lisa is currently on secondment from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland, where has she served as advisor on human rights and security (2006–2007), and as assistant to the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to health (2002–2006). Previously she worked as a human rights officer with the UN Human Rights Field Operation in Rwanda (1995–96), and with the international commissions of inquiry on Darfur (2004) and Lebanon (2006).
Lisa holds degrees in criminology (1992) and law (1995) from the University of Alberta, Canada, and has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta since 1997. She received her Diplome d'Etudes Superieures in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva in 1999.
