Oren Ipp


Oren Ipp is a fellow with the Truman National Security Project. He is currently working as a consultant with the United Nations Development Programme, where his assignment focuses on issues of security sector reform and governance.

In 2008, Oren worked for the Obama campaign in western Pennsylvania as a constituency outreach and field organizer. Prior to the campaign, Oren spent two years in Afghanistan with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) working on national and subnational legislative programs; he also worked for NDI in Washington, D.C., covering the South Asia portfolio.

Oren spent almost two years directing study abroad programs in Central Europe and Latin America. He holds a Master's degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego.
