Rafael Marques de Morais is an Angolan journalist and a human rights activist.

Through his writing, Marques has exposed the corruption of the Angolan government, the tragic impact that diamond extraction has on the lives of local populations, and the abuses committed by the industry's private security companies.

He was the winner of the 2006 Civil Courage Prize.
