Move This World

Sara Potler is the founder and CEO of Move This World, an innovative, global nonprofit that uses movement to inspire young people to be leaders and peacemakers in their communities (formerly known as Dance 4 Peace). She oversees operations of all global programming with more than 1,000 participants in four countries.

In addition to her role at Move This World, Sara is the chief operating officer for Atlas Corps, an international exchange for nonprofit leaders around the world. While at Atlas Corps, she has played a lead role in increasing the program more than fourfold, more than tripling the budget, entering new markets within the United States, and expanding the staff from two to eight full-time employees.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Sara is a Cordes Fellow with the Opportunity Collaboration; the only U.S. recipient of the Youth Leader Award out of over 1,800 applicants in the Americas by the Inter-American Development Bank Annual Board of Governors Meeting; a StartingBloc Fellow; a finalist nominee Social Entrepreneur/Innovator for the Women's Information Network 18th Annual Young Women of Achievement Award; a semifinalist in the Global Social Venture Competition; and a Fulbright Scholar.
