Carbon Trust



Scott recently joined the Carbon Trust as U.S. Project Manager. In this capacity, he is working on the Carbon Trust's product carbon footprinting and labeling initiatives in the United States. He is helping to lead product carbon footprinting efforts with manufacturers and retailers and is also working with key government bodies, NGOs, and think tanks around the development of product carbon footprinting methodologies and standards.

Prior to joining the Carbon Trust, Scott received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University, focusing on life-cycle analysis (LCA) in municipal solid waste management. Scott has several years of management experience in the environmental industry, working for or with such organizations as the Columbia Earth Institute, PepsiCo International, and the New York City Department of Sanitation. He has published widely and presented at many events in the United States and internationally. He lives in New York City.
