Director, Cities and Transportation, Energy and Climate Program
Shin-pei Tsay is the director of cities and transportation in the energy and climate program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Tsay was formerly the director of Carnegie's Leadership Initiative for Transportation Solvency, where she worked with Senator Bill Bradley, Secretary Tom Ridge, and former U.S. Comptroller General Dave Walker.
Tsay also served as the deputy director of Transportation Alternatives; a founding member of the NYC office for ZGF Architects; the chief operating officer of Project for Public Spaces; and a strategy consultant with a company serving the Fortune 500.
In addition, Tsay co-founded Planning Corps, an organization that matches urban planners with community-based projects. Its work is part of the U.S. Pavilion at the 2013 International Venice Biennale for Architecture.
