Susana Martinez-Restrepo is a research associate in the regional bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), based in New York City.

Martinez-Restrepo was previously quantitative research assistant, evaulation team at the National Center for Restructuring Education, Schools, and Teaching at Teacher's College, Columbia University. She was also a research associate for the Centre for Governane and Leadership, Office of the Prime Minister of Singapore.

She has a Ph.D. in economics and education from Columbia University, and an MA in political science/comparitive politics and a BA in political science and Latin American studies, both from Sciences-Po Paris.
