Tenkir Bonger, originally from Ethiopia, is a professor of economics at Copper Belt University, Kitwe, Zambia and National Program Officer for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UN FAO). He received a Masters degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Reading, UK and a Ph.D. in Development Eonomics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at London University.
